Community Scan – Easter Egg Hunts
It’s that time of year when nothing is cuter than a toddler finding over-sized plastic eggs and putting them into a brightly colored basket. 😊 Here are some local activities for your intrepid cuties:
Anoka Women of Today Bunny Party Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM CDT at George Enloe Park (631 Lund Boulevard, Anoka, MN 55303). The egg hunt starts at 10:00 AM and ends when all the eggs are found. There will also be crafts and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.
Eggstravaganza 2025: Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM CDT at 850 South St, Anoka, MN 55303. This event includes free egg hunts with candy and non-candy treats for all ages and abilities, crafts, games, activity stations, bunnies, and photo opportunities with a petting zoo and backdrops. There will also be an “eggcellent” breakfast available. No tickets are needed, and there is no cost, but free-will donations will be accepted.
Roseth Realty Easter Egg Extravaganza (FREE): Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunny Acres Park (3399 Colfax Ave, Anoka, MN 55303). This event will have free candy, pizza, and beverages, plus bounce houses, prizes, and a chance to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. No registration is required, and all are welcome.
Spring Lake Park Lions Club Annual Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 12, 2025. Sign-in is between 11:30 AM and 12:15 PM, with hunts starting at different times based on age groups (2-4 year olds at 12:40 PM, 5-7 year olds at 1:00 PM, and 8-12 year olds at 1:20 PM) at Lakeside Lions Park (79th Ave. & Pleasant View Dr.). Children will use designated bags provided at sign-in. This event is free, and donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for the local food shelf.

We visited the thespruceeats.com to find this adorable – and great tasting – treat for your table this spring.
These have minimal prep and cooking time – and serve up to 16 people. The great part about this recipe is the option for either stovetop or microwave directions.
